Lakers Not Expected To Seriously Consider Trading Anthony Davis

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Wed Apr 6, 2022 11:58 am

The Los Angeles Lakers are not expected to seriously consider trading Anthony Davis this offseason, multiple sources tell Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report.

Because the Lakers are limited in their ways to improve the roster, rival executives and media members have speculated that a Davis trade could be one of their only viable options to remake the roster around LeBron James.

Davis has battled injuries during the past two seasons and the Lakers have faith in their ability to be competitive should he be healthy.

Davis has an Early Termination Option in 2024.

... and that is why you fail.

Face it, you bought a lemon. It was good for one year but now it's falling apart or in the shop more than it's not. Time to move on and trade it in for something more reliable.

So, they will trade him without thinking seriously about it?

They should keep AD. Trade LBJ. I bet someone will over pay through the roof for him. Only issue is he’s got one year on his deal that will limit his asking price plus his age. Let’s see what happens in PHI because that could be a team that could be a factor.

You should probably look up the definition of a lemon… if he brought the lakers a championship then he is not a lemon. I do think he is injury prone and should be considered as a trade possibility, but he’s def not a lemon.

He's a lemon. You should get more than one "adjusted" year out of a player. His health and apathy been a major factor in the Lakers poor performance since the one championship.

You'd be pissed if you bought an expensive new car and it only worked for one season, then started falling apart. That IS a lemon.
