The Phoenix Suns have waived Frank Kaminsky.

Kaminsky has been limited to nine games this season due to a stress reaction in his left knee.

The Suns will enter the playoffs with homeport advantage throughout.

Seems awfully damning to be released a matter of days before the Playoffs start

He's injured. All it means is Ish Wainwright will get the roster spot and a standard contract. Players on 2-Way contracts aren't playoff eligible.

They’re preparing for the All Starboard game.

Is this it for his career or does he find a spot next year?

Frank should have a place in the league.
He had some good games this season.

I've been following Frank "The Tank" since his years in Charlotte and I wondered what they saw in him to pick him at 9th. However, during last year's playoffs he was very good. If he can return to that level, he would be a good addition to any team.

The way, position or team through which you get into the league do not matter in many cases.
If Frank could get some more athelic abilities (jumping, lateral quickness, etc), he could be a nice center with that noce three point touch.
