Kyrie Irving Fined $50,000 For Obscene Gestures, Profanity During Game 1

Kyrie Irving has been fined $50,000 for making obscene gestures on the playing court and directing profane language toward the spectator stands.

Irving made the gestures and his comments to the spectators during the Brooklyn Nets’ 115-114 loss to the Boston Celtics on April 17 at TD Garden.

This is dumb. They shouldn’t fine him.

I’d rather athletes talk back to fans that talk **** to them rather than the players who kick fans out of the arena for talking **** to them.

Giving the finger to the entire stadium is embarrassing to the league. Kyrie needs to own his emotions and calm down.

Never liked Kyrie ... But I love the fact his giving crap to the fans...

You get what you give IMO...

People and sports in general are way too soft these days ...

When I see kyries actions it tells me he is not happy. I don't anything can change that with him. He is just one of those people who are never going to be happy. He has had one good situation after the other and all the ungrateful fool can do is complain. Didn't like.playing with lebron for who knows why. Then he shuns Boston clearly not happy. Now is playing with Durant in a place he supposedly wanted to be and all he can do is lash out at the fans and nag? Fix one issue then it's something else with the man. He is lucky that he is such a phenom talented offensive player otherwise he would be out of the league.
