Joel Embiid Out Indefinitely With Orbital Fracture, Mild Concussion

Joel Embiid is out indefinitely after suffering a right orbital fracture and mild concussion during the Philadelphia 76ers' Game 6 win at the Toronto Raptors.

Embiid will be listed as out and there is no timetable for his return.

The Sixers will play the Miami Heat in their second round series.

it sucks man specially cause i didnt want no excuses but doc rivers had no business having embiid on the floor with less than 5 minutes and up by 30. auful coach

Do we know he got hurt near the end of the game? I didn’t watch it so I didn’t know about the injury.

Dude got away with two flagrant fouls in Game 6 alone. Makes sure he makes extra push/contact after plays are over whenever he can and is allowed to get away with it and actually connected on faces of several Raptors with his elbow. I'm not surprised he finally got what's coming to him.

He really should check his dirtiness at the door because the dude's body's made of glass from beginning of his career and if he keeps making these extra, unnecessary, and dirty pushes and hits, one of these days, somebody's bound to hit back and one wrong push could end what is likely a relatively short prime already.

Pascal was driving to the hoop with 4 mins left,and accidentally elbowed him.

Hard to work up any sympathy for a team that had its star on the floor with 3:58 left and a 29 point lead. Especially when he himself is a cheap shot artist. Karma will find you every time.

Philly up 29 with under 4minutes to play --- why on earth would any coach ( not named Thibodeau or Rivers ) have their MVP on the floor of a decided game?

Falls completely on Doc Rivers : bone head idiotic coaching decision that will haunt the franchise for years to come.

Unfortunately, Sixers current championship aspirations are done now -- with all due respect to Harden, no way the Sixers get past the Heat without Embiid.
