Hornets Sign GM Mitch Kupchak To Multiyear Extension

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Fri May 20, 2022 12:27 am

Mitch Kupchak has signed a multiyear contract extension Thursday to remain general manager of the Charlotte Hornets.

Kupchak's contract was set to expire this summer.

"For better or for worse, I will be here for the next couple of years," Kupchak said on a videoconference call. He would not say when the contract expires.

HE should have been fired for saying for better or for worse. For the greatest competitor in nba history in jordan he surely sucks as an owner

MJ purchased the Hornets for $175 million. The value of the franchise as of October 2021 is $1.57 billion. As an "owner," he's doing just fine.

Between LaMelo and Bridges, the Hornets future is very bright. Bridges' potential is scary. I expect to see this team competing for the top seed in the East in about 4 years.
