The Boston Celtics will become a luxury tax team if they win the NBA championship by way of a bonus in Jaylen Brown's contract.

Brown has earned a $964,286 bonus with the Celtics reaching The Finals.

The Celtics are now $358,000 below the luxury tax line. 

In addition to paying the luxury tax, the Celtics would more importantly miss out on receiving a significant luxury tax payment.
