Tim MacMahon: 'Informed Speculation' Is Quin Snyder Likely Leaving Jazz

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Fri Jun 3, 2022 3:11 am

The Utah Jazz and Quin Snyder have discussed their present and future partnership this offseason as he has resisted offers of a contract extension that would make him one of the highest paid coaches in the NBA.

The Jazz would like to retain Snyder and are open to him remaining as head coach even without a long-term deal.

"At this point, my informed speculation is that Quin Snyder is likely going to end up leaving," said Tim MacMahon. "Now, if that happens, the Jazz would be appreciative of that decision coming sooner than later. They don't want that to be a late summer decision and they have to scramble to hire a head coach."

MacMahon does not believe Snyder has interest in leaving the Jazz for another head coaching job ahead of the 22-23 season.

yeah. This poor, poor guy. He couldnt figure out how to beat the Clippers without Kawhi even though his front office gave him a 3x DPOY, the 6th man of the year, and 3 All-Stars to work with. Poor, poor guy.......

I'm not even going to entertain this comment.
