Optimism Stephen Curry Will Play Game 4 Of NBA Finals

Stephen Curry appeared to have reinjured his left foot on a play where several Celtics and Warriors dove for a loose ball in the fourth quarter of Game 3 of the 2022 NBA Finals. Fortunately, it appears Curry avoided any sort of major injury.

Curry was previously injured in a regular season game against Boston when Marcus Smart dove for a loose ball and rolled up on Curry's foot/ankle. Curry missed nearly a month of action before returning for the start of the playoffs.

Curry appears to have avoided the need for an MRI. He plans to take part in Warriors practice on the off day between Games 3 and 4 on Thursday.

Notice curry is only injured after losses in this years finals.

He was still playing after he dove for the ball. Now he’s injured. Rob Williams is like “hold my beer”.

Maybe he should stop diving for balls if that’s what’s causing him to get hurt.

I would imagine in the playoffs when you are going up against the same team over and over again that you practice adjustments you will use for next game. Obviously if he's feeling anything, he should rest up. If he feels fine and it was just a temporary pain then working through those adjustments you want to implement might be valuable.

Yeah, yeah...he wasn't injured cause he played after getting the incident. Too much drama. He's getting paid a lot so suck it up play on. :noway:

You can get shots up on a bum ankle, if only to try and loosen it up. And you can certainly walk through any scheme adjustments that they may be going over. I would expect him to show up to the practice whether he would be playing in game 4 or not.
