Knicks Have 'Touched Base' With Pistons Over No. 5 Pick In Draft

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Wed Jun 22, 2022 5:27 am

The New York Knicks have reportedly "touched base" with the Detroit Pistons over a deal involving the No. 5 pick in the upcoming draft, sources told Ian Begley of SNY.

Any trade would likely involve Cam Reddish moving to the Pistons.

The Knicks currently hold the No. 11 pick in the draft.

The team is also said to be in conversations with the Kings over the No. 4 pick, where they have reportedly offered "multiple first-round picks."

If Ivey gets to 5 we're taking him. So, unless you're targeting Sharpe, you're wasting your time and should be trying to get the Kings pick at 4.

Would take #11 + 2013 Mavs 1st + Toppin + Reddish for Pistons to even remotely consider.

 If that's the case, I hope the Knicks hang up laughing.
