I think the priority is doing enough to get Dame to want to stay. Further, I don’t think this is a finished roster. It’s hard not to like the direction they’ve gone in tho - Dame flanked by two big, physical & versatile wings with decent touch is a look they should have gone with seasons ago instead of sticking with the shrimps in the backcourt core.
Is there enough left to snag Beal and fill in a playoff rotation? I think there just might be. Maybe Beal’s waiting to see what happens with Nurk & Simons. A Nurk S&T would be a logical
last step as it would trigger the hard cap. So maybe we see them acquire some depth, especially in the frontcourt where they’re thin on talent, before making a final splash with a trade for Beal
