Sixers 'Keeping An Eye' On Kyrie Irving Situation

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Mon Jul 4, 2022 4:50 am

The Philadelphia 76ers are reportedly monitoring the Kyrie Irving situation, sources told Brian Lewis of the New York Post.

Irving has frequently been rumored to go to the Lakers in a deal involving Russell Westbrook, with LeBron James said to be pushing for the trade

The Sixers are currently negotiating a new multiyear deal with James Harden.

Harden left because of Kyrie. I REALLY doubt the Sixers are interested.

It's a local NY writer and the Nets only have one real suitor.

This is definitely the Marks and the Nets throwing something out there to try and pressure the Lakers into a better deal.

LeBron pushing for a Westbrook for Kyrie trade? Can’t be true. He says he’s only a player like everyone else.

Plus, if true, he’s such a genius GM pushing for a Westbrook for Kyrie trade. It’ll be such a great improvement.

If you’re going to make up something to throw out there, why would you make up something nobody would believe. The ridiculousness of it actually opens the possibility of it being true.

Because a lot of people would believe Morey chasing stars? It's what he does. So the Nets throw something at least plausible out there to try and force the Lakers into a better offer.

EXACTLY CORRECT!!

Harden left the Nets to get as far away from Kyrie as possible. There's ZERO chance he would suddenly be okay with them bringing in the man he just ran away from.

As another poster said: if you're gonna make up a lie to write about, at least make it somewhat believable!
