From news:
"The Knicks and Blazers finished their qualifying games with a 3-1 record and while five other teams held the same record (Raptors, Bucks, Celtics, Thunder, and Bulls), the Knicks and Blazers advanced to the championship game thanks to superior point differential."
I guess we can assume the next two teams who finished on point differential could be considered the 3rd and 4th.
It is pretty wonky, what they do is schedule every team for 4 games, then based on records they schedule everyone with a 5th game so the #1/#2 teams after four games play each other.
So the Blazers won that game, but it wasn't an extra game, so the Blazers, Raptors and Bulls all finished at 4-1, and probably should be considered the top 3 teams since it wasn't functional as a real tournament where advancing further had meaning.
Not that anyone gives a crap.
