Heat 'Disinclined' To Trade Bam Adebayo In Kevin Durant Deal

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Wed Jul 27, 2022 4:59 am

The Miami Heat remain interested in trading for Kevin Durant but are "disinclined" to part ways with Bam Adebayo, sources told Barry Jackson and Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald.

Adebayo currently cannot be traded to the Nets unless Ben Simmons is also traded due to the Designated Rookie Extension rule.

It was reported earlier that rival executives are skeptical as to whether the Nets actually want to trade Durant due to the high asking price.

The Heat are able to trade two unprotected first-round picks as things stand.

The team could potentially revisit a Durant trade should it become more realistic in the future.

They are like the Lakers of the east. They want to aquire stars only by offering players or contracts that nobody wants.

I love how executives believe the Nets don't want to trade KD because they're butt hurt the Nets won't accept scraps for him.

The HEAT is the 6th best team (wins) over the past 15 years. I'll take that.

Yeah I feel like Tyler Herro needs to restore some of his value for the Heat to be major players in Mitchell/Durant trades

Pretty sure lakers gave pelicans a ton of young talent and picks for AD who only had 1 year left so this take is wrong oh and if Lakers offered AD and two firsts for KD that pretty much the best package they could get barring maybe the celtics package qorh 3 first rounders wont be as good of picks as the lakers though brown who isnt as good as AD but less injury prone and include marcus smart and one other player

Tyler Herro is as good as gone

He's going to want a big contract next year, and everyone knows that Heat cannot afford to pay him

If anything, teams are doing Heat a favour so Herro don't walk for nothing if they give up any sort of value for Herro right now
