The NBA and the National Basketball Referees Association entered a new collective bargaining agreement lasting through the 2028-29 season on Thursday.

The previous agreement expired at the end of the 2021-22 season.

The new agreement addressed issues surrounding salary, travel, and pension, and was ratified by the overwhelming majority of refs.

"The league has made clear that they value the contributions we make to the game's integrity, and we look forward to a long and prosperous relationship together. We are all excited to start the new season," said NBRA board member and veteran official Marc Davis.
