Robert Williams underwent a successful arthroscopic procedure to remove loose bodies and address swelling in his left knee. The surgery was performed by Celtics Team Physician Dr. Tony Schena at New England Baptist Hospital.

Williams is expected to return to basketball activities in 8-12 weeks.

Way to not screw up your summer vacation plan, do the surgery at training camp, and rehab during the season!

I don't care about the Celtics and have Al Horford on a couple of money fantasy basketball leagues. I'm glad that Robert should make a full recovery and will take the additional stats while he's out.
