Steven Adams, Grizzlies Sign Two-Year, $25.2M Extension

Steven Adams and the Memphis Grizzlies have agreed to a two-year, $25.2 million contract extension.


Adams is now signed with the Grizzlies for three more seasons at $43.1 million.


Adams averaged 6.9 points and 10 rebounds last season for the Grizzlies.

He is going to get more millions in a year from the franchise than shots in everygame from his teammates.

Locking in 170 million in career earnings, and he'll be a 32 year old free agent the year the cap explodes.

I´m really happy with this deal. Fair price for a player who helped unlock Ja´s potential by being one of the best screen-setters in the game. Also a great leader and offensive rebounder!
