The NBA and NBPA have yet to make progress on eliminating the age-limit rule as part of its next collective bargaining agreement.

The current rule states that players must be one year removed from high school graduation and turning 19 in the calendar year of the draft.

There are significant hurdles that would need to be resolved in order to change the rule.

Adam Silver has gone on record preferring the rule be changed.

"There are significant hurdles that would need to be resolved in order to change the rule." What does this even mean??? From what I tell this seems to be an issue with older/veteran players, who want to try and finesse these teams into giving them a bag when they are past their prime.
