Hawks To Waive Jarrett Culver From Two-Way Deal; Sign Donovan Williams

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Sat Jan 14, 2023 6:43 pm

The Atlanta Hawks are waiving Jarrett Culver from this Two-Way contract. Atlanta will replace Culver by signing Donovan Williams to a Two-Way deal.

Williams has spent this season with the Long Island Nets of the G League. The 6-foot-6 wing has averaged 15.5 points per game on 48% shooting from the field. Williams has also shot 40.7% on 4.7 three-point attempts per contest. Williams undrafted at the 2022 NBA Draft as an Early Entry Candidate out of UNLV.

Culver averaged 4.4 points across 10 NBA games with the Hawks. In 11 games with the College Park Skyhawks, Culver appeared in 11 games and averaged 18 points and 7.5 rebounds per game.

Sunday, January 15 is the deadline for NBA teams to sign players to a Two-Way contract for the remainder of this season.

Tbh I'm surprised that Jarrett Culver was on a NBA roster in the first place. Dude is trash.
