Heat Trade Dewayne Dedmon, 2nd Round Pick To Spurs

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Tue Feb 7, 2023 5:04 pm

The Miami Heat have agreed to trade Dewayne Dedmon and a second round pick to the San Antonio Spurs.

The Heat create a roster spot with the move while also giving them additional clearance below the luxury tax.

So they have a bench centre who has played quite well and he ends up being offloaded because that discussion with the coaches?
Who they plan to play at C when Adebayo rests, Spolestra?

You obviously have not seen him play, he is horrible. Our undrafted Center Orlando Robinson is better than him.

This is a great move. Opens up space for two minimums in the roster. Heat are great at getting undrafted guys. Besides, second round picks can be purchased on draft night, so the opportunity cost is small.

I feel like Dedmon has played for both teams at least three times each.

Yurt is still not back, but Orlando Robinson is doing pretty well!
