John Wall To Be Bought Out By Clippers If Not Traded

The Los Angeles Clippers plan on buying out John Wall if they are unable to trade him at the deadline.

Wall agreed to a two-year, $13.2 million deal with the Clippers upon his buyout by the Houston Rockets this past offseason. 

Wall has averaged 11.4 points, 2.7 rebounds and 5.2 assists in 22.2 minutes over 34 games with the Clippers. 

Wall last played for the Clippers on January 13th.

I really don't understand the mindset here. Wall played decent for them. The problem for the Clippers has been injuries and then the resting every other game. Now, if Russ is bought out and they can sign him then sure, otherwise why wouldn't they keep Wall.

He'll most likely just need to move his belongings over to the Lakers locker room if he's bought out.
