Kevin Love Agrees To Buyout With Cavs; Will Meet With Heat, Sixers

Kevin Love and the Cleveland Cavaliers have completed a buyout agreement, reports Adrian Wojnarowski.

The Miami Heat are the favorites to sign Love once he clears waivers, reports Shams Charania.

Love will also meet with the Philadelphia 76ers before making a final decision. Love has been with the Cavaliers since the 2014 season, but had recently fallen out of their rotation.

Are those teams considering him though? I have to know if they’re considering him considering every other team has considered him recently. It’d be considerate if someone considered telling us whether those teams are considering Kevin Love.

Considering they considered him and decided to meet with him for consideration, then they are obviously still considering for him to be considered. :wink:

I'd supposed there are pros and cons between joining Phoenix, Philadelphia and Miami:

The Suns is now the new favourite of winning the Championship this Season. They also have the pro-rated MLE to offer. But Love probably won't get more than 15-20 mins of play time per night.

The Sixers will probably make it to the Eastern Conference Semis. They probably need Love for 20-25 mins per night.

The Heat is currently 7th in the East and is expected to improve their form heading into the Finals. They can also give Love a ton of minutes. This can be attractive to Love who is in a contract year and wants to prove what he got in the tank.
