No Timeline For Ben Simmons To Return

Ben Simmons has been out due to a sore left knee since the Brooklyn Nets returned from the All-Star break. Net coach Jacque Vaughn said on Tuesday that there is no timeline for when Simmons may return. Vaughn also said that Brooklyn has had no discussions about shutting Simmons down for the season.

“No, that’s a zero on that one. Go zero. Think I went zero last time, going zero again, no discussion,” Vaughn said.

Simmons has appeared in 42 games this season after missing the entirety of last season. It's been a down year for the versatile 6-foot-10 player, as Simmons has averaged just 6.9 points, 6.3 rebounds and 6.1 assists. All are career-lows for Simmons in his seventh NBA season.

You know you are great when 6.3 rebounds and 6.1 assists are career lows :o

Waive and stretch. Ben Simmons has no interest in playing basketball.

OKC, Houston, or Utah should trade for him if Brooklyn attaches three FRPs.

Too bad they can’t just cut him for breach of contract, he’s definitely not living up to his end of deal. Brooklyn should just send him home without pay like Philly did, force this guy to either improve or he doesn’t get paid.

Its up to Brooklyn to improve his knee injury.

Fact is they're stuck with him. He's likely completely shot, but..... if the injuries are real, this is the absolute perfect team for him. Maybe he should do one of those weird trips like Dirk did after '06 where he went to survive in the outback for a month or something lol.

More like no timeline for when Ben decides to actually care about hooping again...

100% they will attach picks and offload him to a bottom feeder team before they stretch that massive salary against their cap.
