Jamal Murray Exits At Halftime With Left Knee Soreness

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Mon Mar 13, 2023 12:21 pm

The Denver Nuggets streak hit three straight losses on Sunday. Given the Nuggets still have a five-game lead atop the Western Conference, a more pressing concern is the health of Jamal Murray.

Denver's starting point guard exited Sunday's loss to the Brooklyn Nets at halftime. Murray was dealing with some left knee soreness, but is reportedly "fine".

Murray missed all of last season, while recovering from a torn ACL suffered near the end of the 2020-21 season. Murray has missed time sporadically this season due to knee soreness, including a six-game stretch leading up to last month's All-Star break.

Hope he’s fine and can stay healthy. Would really like to see Denver at full strength for the playoffs.

It seems like this guy gets hurt when it matters the most.

If this dude played then the Nuggets would be betting favorites every year. It sucks. It's probably not getting any better and his contract isn't getting smaller. And we just got over Gary Harris.

Blah, I know I'm over-exaggerating, but it's really annoying never getting to see your teams best squad all playing together for anything more than a tease.
