Nets Signing Moses Brown

The Brooklyn Nets are continuing to tinker with their frontcourt depth. The latest move will reportedly see Brooklyn sign Moses Brown.

Brooklyn had Nerlens Noel in on a 10 Day contract, but he was fairly ineffective. Rather than sign Noel to a second 10 Day deal, the Nets are moving on to bring in Brown to back up Nicolas Claxton at center.

Brown was with the LA Clippers for the majority of the season, along with a very short stint with the New York Knicks. When he hit the 50-game maximum on his Two-Way deal, Brown and the Clippers mutually agreed to part ways. In 34 NBA games with LA, Brown averaged 4.6 points and 4.1 rebounds in 8.5 minutes per game.

4.1 rebounds per game in 8.5 minutes per game?
Sounds like the next Dennis Rodman.
Or a high-scoring version of Dennis Rodman, because he also averaged 4.6 points in those 8.5 minutes!
And has a career average of 5.3 rebounds in 12.6 minutes (126 games).

This going to be his 7th NBA team in 4 years. (Blazers, Thunder, Mavericks, Cavaliers, Clippers, Knicks, Nets). Dude is going to be the new Ish Smith.

Will his Knicks’ stint still count since he never played a game? Pretty sure it won’t.

Chucky Brown was released by the Heat prior to the regular season in the 90s. It never counted towards his teams played. Otherwise he would have been at 13 teams.
