It’s good there’s teams like Washington Wizards that overpay significantly for players that would otherwise these players would get no where close to the $$ they make.
Two? He played in 51 games last year...
Anyway, he's adjusted his game since leaving the Mavs and it seems to have paid off. He's taking less shots at the rim and playing more in the mid range and at the nail. In Dallas the vast majority of his shots came right at the rim or straight on from 3 (most likely in PnR and as a trailer). He's able to have the ball more, and they run offense through him for stretches so it allows him to get in a better rhythm. He has by far his best TS%, his best FT rate, and his best 2 pt% of his career and his 2nd best 3%. His advanced stats are across the board best of his career too.
If you can get 65 games a season out of him, then I think he's worth around 30 million per season. If you could count on him for that consistently then I think he'd be worth more, but you just have to be concerned with his ability to stay healthy. He does have a very rare and desirable skill-set as a big that can protect the paint and spread the floor. You pretty much have Embiid, Jackson, Lopez, Turner and Porzingis as those guys in the NBA right now.
