Timberwolves Send Rudy Gobert Home After He Punched Kyle Anderson

Late in the first half of the Minnesota Timberwolves regular season finale against the New Orleans Pelicans, Rudy Gobert appeared to punch teammate Kyler Anderson in the shoulder. The incident happened while the two were arguing during a timeout.
Gobert was sent to the locker room before halftime. During the break, the Timberwolves announced Gobert was out for the remainder of the game.
Minnesota is in the middle of battling for postseason seeding. The Wolves could be in the 7-8 Play-In Game in the Western Conference Play-In Tournament with a victory over the Pelicans.

I'll reserve final judgment until I see video, but SloMo has had a long, incident-free career as a pro, while Rudy seems to have had a lot of issues with teammates.

Crazy, for a cheaper price they coulda had Ant, Donovan Mitchell, and KAT instead from Utah smh

I mean, this is already a top 5 worst trade of all time, right?
The Wolves got completely and thoroughly worked. I'd also like to mention this as a warning to the advanced stats nerds. The game is not a math problem, you have to actually watch what happens on the court. Gobert can have the greatest advanced stats in the world, and you can still watch and see he can be played out of the game because he isn't mobile enough to switch on the perimeter. And offensively he's a zero, screen assists are a fabricated stat.
