Draymond Green: Draymond Won't Be Moved By The Draymond Rule

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Sun Apr 23, 2023 3:01 pm

Draymond Green was suspended for Game 3, which the Golden State Warriors won to move their first round series against the Sacramento Kings to 2-1.

Green promises not to change the way he approaches the game.

"They created a Draymond rule before, that s--- don't work. I'm still sitting here," Green said after practice Saturday.

"Draymond won't be moved by the Draymond rule," Green added. "I'll continue to play the game how I play the game, operate how I operate, be exactly who I am because that leads to winning. If I was losing, they wouldn't be creating Draymond rules. As long as they create Draymond rules, that means we're winning and that's great ... but it doesn't change Draymond."

Sometimes I wonder if people can hear themselves talk.

That's exactly the moment when you ban him for life. But the league is too soft.

Well, at least he’s apologetic, takes responsibility, and learns from his mistakes.

That was a typo. He’s top ten in the NAB, an NBA splinter faction that wants to “Normalize Assault and Battery.”

Narcissism. It’s an annoying unlikable personality trait. He is in a state of arrested development. Narcissists rarely change their stripes. Rehabilitation rarely works. I hope the league just acts to protect its other players. Drays ego shouldn’t take precedence over safety.

They should go right for this fool in Game 4. Every little annoying thing they can do. He's a powder keg of victimhood just waiting to blow.

Defending at an elite level and having two of the best shooters in history to pass to leads to winning. All of that could be done without ever opening your mouth, without barking at the refs, without random acts of violence. Nobody needs that foolishness. If your team wasn't winning, the league wouldn't need "Draymond Rules.' Your team would have stopped putting up with you a long time ago. They probably should have anyway and I see it in your near future.

If you weren't winning, you wouldn't be in the **** league. Lucky for you that your skills perfectly complement the two greatest shooters of all time for an organization willing to pay $200 million in tax or whatever ridiculous amount it is.

He obviously can, since he's now referring to himself in the 3rd person, which is a hallmark of self-awareness.

Draymond should be grateful Draymond was drafted by the Warriors. I’ve always thought that he is the most overrated player from all those championship teams. He would be ordinary on any other team.

He should be fined for each time he referred to himself in the third person.
This is hardly even fair, the rest of the league is playing checkers and Danny Ainge is playing 12-dimensional chess.

You nailed it.

Draymond’s problem and the warrior’s problem is that he has treated the refs like crap for the past ten years. He has Consistently been completely disrespectful and abusive. It is then no great shock that the refs with the league’s backing tilt the scales away from the warriors. I had long hoped that he would tone it down a little bit towards the refs and come to some kind of a detante. It appears he’s not capable of that.

Draymond is a What If? Story where Jason Maxiell gets to play with 3 to 5 hall of famers one of whom is a top 10 player of all time in Curry.
