Kawhi Leonard Ruled Out For Game 5

The Los Angeles Clippers ruled Kawhi Leonard out for Game 5 against the Phoenix Suns due to a right knee sprain.

Leonard suffered the injury in Game 1 and made it worse by playing in Game 2.

Leonard received treatment on Monday, but did not practice.

Ty Lue defended Leonard on Monday, saying that the Clippers star is "definitely hurt."

Wouldn't have expected anything else. At least Russ was able to show that he can still be very effective. The one positive out of an otherwise horrible post season for the Clippers.

The NBA has an injury problem. They need to reduce total games and back to backs, or the product will continue to suffer.

Kawhi missed 30 games this season and only played in one back to back the whole season. He still couldn’t make it through 2 games in the postseason. He’s damaged goods.
