The Houston Rockets are well known to be suitors to sign James Harden in free agency. Outside of Harden, Houston has their sights set on several other free agents as well.

The Rockets plan to target unrestricted free agents Brook Lopez and Dillon Brooks this summer. Houston will also look to negotiate with restricted free agents Austin Reaves and Cam Johnson too.

The Rockets are also expected to entertain trade offers for the fourth overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft. If Houston is going with win-now players in free agency, they may look to move that pick, along with young players, to bring in more veterans via trade.

They'll have to settle for Dillon Brooks.

It appears that Houston is prepared to make moves to consolidate the youth they want to keep while getting some vets to get them back to competitive basketball.

Yes go ahead and trade all of our future draft picks & the picks we have from the Nets to make Harden happy. If he doesn't actually get it through his skull that his bread and butter (baiting refs into Foul calling) doesn't work in the playoffs he'll never get anywhere. God I really don't want Playground basketball offense back in Houston...it was like watching a more upgraded Steve Francis playing 1v5.

Brooks wants a bigger role and I doubt he will have a bigger role than Green, KPJ, or Sengun so he probably will end up in San Antonio or Charlotte.

Only Austin Reaves and Cam Johnson make any sense. Lopez is old and doesn't fit the timeline, Brooks is a clown and we already have locker room maturity issues. Harden would just kill any possible chemistry as a ball dominant guard
