Lakers Remain Uninterested In Adding Kyrie Irving

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Tue Jun 6, 2023 5:04 am

The Los Angeles Lakers remain uninterested in adding Kyrie Irving this offseason, sources told Jovan Buha of The Athletic.

The rumors come after reports that Irving is attempting to recruit LeBron James to the Mavs.

Marc Stein added that Irving is looking shut down rumors that he wants to join the Lakers and wants to stay with the Mavs.

Kyrie Irving has ruined the teams that he's been with. Why would anyone want him?

that's why kyrie is recruiting lebron to dallas

dallas is the ONLY team that'll pay for kyrie,,,,and the only reason for that is because brunson was gone.
kyrie is just as stuck with dallas as they are to him

kyrie aint recruting lebum to dallas. Truth be told not many current or former nba players like lebron, but if you go againist him "ie dilllon brooks", the LeMedia will try and destroy your career. Westbrook and Harden along with durant and kyrie dont dont get along with lebum and look at how LeESPN and LeFSOne attack those players. ESPN even ran with a story that it was James Harden that got doc rivers fired smh. How can a pending free-agent get a current coach under contract fired. And because the LeMedia knew that Harden and Dillon Brooks wont respond and defend their self. They continue to go in even harder. Its why we need more kwame browns in the media for athletes to defend the current crop of players from the LeMedia. We finally have a great NBA Finals going on with no LeBum and the LeMedia cant stand it, they have to insert a 39 year old dinosaur in the conversation while the nba finals are going on and having exciting games

A pending free agent can EASILY get a currently
under contract coach fired. It's called leverage. The free agent says; "I'm not resigning here if he's still here". If the team really wants to resign the player, then they do what they need to do to make him happy. Otherwise the free agent signs elsewhere, and the team gets nothing.

Doc was also taking the team no where, so it's an easy thing for the team to do.

You have NO clue if current players dislike LeBron or not. Just because they don't want to team up with him and form a super-team, doesn't mean they dislike him. Some players still like competition, others realize that if they join a Lebron team; they will always be considered Robin to his Batman. They will have to share the spotlight. Their egos / pride can't take it. They'd prefer to be the #1 on their own team. (Plus, they don't want to take a pay cut in order to make the rest of the team halfway decent).

Dillon Brooks was being a dick-head, so he got the appropriate reaction.

The media does suck though... but not for your NBA/Lebron conspiracy reasons. Lebron sells, and talking about him gets views, so the media is going to beat that dead horse until it no longer works at getting them attention. End of story.
