The LA Clippers are acquiring K.J. Martin from the Houston Rockets in exchange for two future second-round picks. The Clippers were looking to add younger, athletic players to their veteran-laden roster.

Martin averaged 12.7 points and 5.5 rebounds for the Rockets last season, while shooting 56.9% from the field.

Great pickup and cheap to boot. Makes some other players available for trades for Harden or Lillard if they want to go that route.

As a non fan of either team I would agree, but sometimes 2nd round picks can be valuable. Wolves got one in trade and took Leonard Miller.

Jokic was a 2nd rounder, so sometimes they are worth everything.

But usually they aren't, so that's a good piece of business for LAC.
