Clippers Unwilling To Include Terance Mann, Additional Draft Picks In James Harden Trade

The Los Angeles Clippers remain unwilling to add Terance Mann or any additional draft picks in a potential trade for James Harden, sources told Jake Fischer of Yahoo! Sports.

The Sixers are looking for a second first-round pick, a first-round pick swap, and expiring contracts in exchange for Harden.

The Clippers have no interest in sending out a second first-round pick in a trade. The team also values its unprotected first-round pick in 2028 so highly that they've explored trading that pick to a third team for two first-round picks, sources told Fischer.

Harden, who has reportedly conducted his Sixers return in a professional manner, will likely open the regular season with Philadelphia.

Don't blame the Clippers for not wanting to part with their picks for Harden but they really seem to be overvaluing Terance Mann however.

Bridges was objectively a better player in his first 4 seasons than Mann has been during his first 4 years. Its really not that comparable.

uh... can anyone point to a single time in nba history where a team has traded away two first round picks for one first round pick, unless its known that the pick in question is high in the lottery, with a particular player in mind that a team is chasing. what kind of fever dream would lead the clippers to believe a team is going to give them 2 FRP's for their FRP in 2028? Thats hilarious.

Could the team trading the 2 frps not put conditions on them? That said, don't recall ever seeing that straight up.
