Blazers, Jamaree Bouyea Agree To Two-Way Contract

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Sat Nov 11, 2023 7:47 pm

The Portland Trail Blazers and Rip City Remix are signing Jamaree Bouyea to a two-way contract. Bouyea is replacing Skylar Mays, who Portland is converting to a standard contract.

Bouyea spent last season with the Miami Heat and Washington Wizards in the NBA, as well as the Sioux Falls Skyforce in the G League. Bouyea was set to return to the Skyforce for this season, before being signed by the Trail Blazers.

Blazers GM did not want Tyler Herro but he's more than happy to take Miami throw aways now.

We didn’t want herro because we have 4-5 quality guards under contract and herro would only continue that logjam. Additionally portland needed picks more than win now talent and got way more picks in our trades than what miami had to offer. Additionally brogdon is fairly comparable to herro’s impact on the game
