Lakers, Heat, Sixers Expected To Have Interest In Zach LaVine

The Chicago Bulls and Zach LaVine are reportedly exploring the idea of him being traded. As the first All-Star level player to come available since Damian Lillard and James Harden, LaVine is expected to have a wide market.

The Los Angeles Lakers, Miami Heat and Philadelphia 76ers are all expected to have interest in LaVine. The Lakers would be bringing LaVine back to Los Angeles, where he played collegiately at UCLA.

Miami missed out on trading for Lillard, and could offer an enticing of package of expiring salary and young players/draft picks to Chicago for LaVine. As for the Sixers, they just created a lot of long-term salary flexibility when they traded Harden. They also have several players on expiring contracts, as well as some draft picks to offer for LaVine.

This should be a no go for the lakers. In order to match salaries they would have to include at least 3 of these players in the trade; DLO, Reaves, Rui, and/or Vincent. Unless they are trading Lebron or AD which makes no sense.

Miami always gets lumped into these discussions but I don't see them trading Jaquez or Herro in such a deal which probably means it's not happening.

Lavine is also a Klutch client which is another reason Riley isn't making that move. Caruso might the the only one Miami would have interest in.

Sixers have Maxey making the leap, and LaVine would only screw that up. So no thanks.

I think two great options for LaVine are GSW and BKN. Also TOR could use him.

Just another reason Kelly getting injured messes with the Sixers' plans. Even entertaining the thought of Zach on the team is a bummer. I like dude's game for sho, just not the guy they need

Sure why not. Miami interested in Caruso and Levine. May as well throw in Derozan in these made up rumors. Heat really want the whole Bulls roster I bet.

LaVine doesn't bring the drama that Harden does, but I see them as very similar players on the court. I'm unsure how much he'd improve a team that is looking for that missing piece to make a championship run.
