Ja Morant "looks good" and is on pace to make his Memphis Grizzlies' return on December 19 after serving a 25-game suspension, league sources told Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Morant is expected to meet with Adam Silver this week ahead of his return.
The Grizzlies are hoping to keep Bismack Biyombo on the active roster when Morant returns.
The team will have to create roster space to hold onto Biyombo and are actively involved in talks around the league, according to sources.
