Kawhi Leonard To Play 'A Little Bit' In All-Star Game

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Sat Feb 17, 2024 10:41 pm

Kawhi Leonard missed the LA Clippers final game before the All-Star break due to adductor soreness. However, Leonard seemed to indicate the injury isn't serious before the All-Star Game.

Leonard said he'd play "a little bit" in Sunday's game. That seems to indicate that Leonard's injury shouldn't be anything that causes him to miss much time.

The Clippers star has played in 48 of his team's 53 games this season. This includes playing in both ends of multiple back-to-back sets.

What a joke of a game… should just sit it out and give the slot to Sabonis.

It has gotten to the point that Kawhi actually playing in games is newsworthy, lol.

Waste of a spot imo, players that are selected but dont want to play or cant should be honorary Assistant coaches, get to be there on the sideline etc but put a player that played well is healthy and wants to compete out there.

nobody wants to "compete" There. this game is so meaningless, neither Fans nor Players really care. lets put together the allstar Teams as Kind of halftime all-nba Teams and thats it. expand the allstar saturday to two days with additional Mini-game tournaments.

They should give home court in the NBA finals to the winning team in the allstar game it is then meaningful.. Boston has the best record in the NBA might well be the best team but they play in the weak east which inflates their record.. By making the NBA finals at stake and since most players in the allstar game should be contenders it gives the game stakes and that should be what they do.

Sabonis is having a MVPesque quality year but won't be in the all-star game. I hope KL enjoys his few minutes.

hell no! why do you want to punish a team with maybe only one all-star if any in the all-star game? why should players of teams with barely any chances, that might be part of the all-star team, care about the homecourt advantage in the finals?
