Bron probably doesn't want him. But, I'd gladly take Brown as the next HC instead of anyone else being tossed around in the media.

He was never given a fair shot the first time they hired him. Shocker...

A shame negotiations weren't last off season. Feel like it's possible Sacramento could take another step back next year as other teams step forward, they'll need the flexibility to scapegoat him, cant over invest in money you might be paying someone to stay home.

Do you have a point?

Stotts name isn't being mentioned at all as a potential Lakers head coach candidate.

Neither is Brown. He's under contract for another year. If SAC was going to fire him they would probably have done it already.

Yeah, kind of agree...he was a bit up and down, and shaky last year in my opinion. I would be content to use his 3rd year as as a true guage of where he' at...but I guess it's not cool, and not that accepted in circles to keep guys on their last seasons, with no extension. I would give him a 3 year, 30 mil deal tops. And restructure so it replaces this upcoming year if possible. Then they would only have to pay him for the last year of his deal, if the teams is still middling around the play-in by his 4th year and elect to go in a different direction.
Not sure I'd want to give him a big 4 year, 45 mil contract if I was the King's top brass either. Especially if it starts after next season. If Kings are still just middle of the pack in the 25-26 season, then maybe it's time to move on? But then if they let him go, after that season...they would still have to pay him for 3 years at 11+ million...so I see the conundrum the FO is facing.
