Warriors Looking To Hire Big-Name Assistant Coach, Had Conversations With Darvin Ham

The Golden State Warriors are looking to add to their coaching staff this offseason regardless of whether they lose Kenny Atkinson, sources told Anthony Slater of The Athletic.
Atkinson, who is rumored to be a candidate for the Cavs head coach position, is Steve Kerr's lead assistant.
The Warriors recently had discussions with Darvin Ham. Though Ham isn't expected to join the Warriors, the team is looking to add a "big-name assistant" in the form of either a former head coach or a former player.
