Game 4 Of Celtics-Mavericks Has Lowest Rating For Finals Game In June Since 2007

The Dallas Mavericks' Game 4 win over the Boston Celtics last Friday averaged a 4.7 rating and 9.62 million viewers, making it the least watched Finals game in its traditional June slot since Game 3 of the 2007 series.
Only Game 3 between the Phoenix Suns and Milwaukee Bucks in July 2021 (9.25 million) and Game 4 of the Los Angeles Lakers and Miami Heat in 2020 (7.70 million) had fewer viewers.
The Mavericks, who entered the game trailing the Celtics 3-0 in the series, won in a blowout.
ESPN/ABC will continue to broadcast the Finals until at least 2036.
