The New York Knicks continue to prioritize re-signing OG Anunoby in free agency following their trade for Mikal Bridges, sources tell Ian Begley of SNY.tv. The Knicks, however, are increasingly unlikely to be able to afford to re-sign Isaiah Hartenstein.
The Knicks can only offer Hartenstein up to a four-year deal worth $72.5 million as they hold his Early Bird rights. Hartenstein could command a contract that exceeds that amount on the open market. Hartenstein is represented by Drew Morrison and Aaron Mintz of CAA.
New York is not limited on what they can offer Anunoby as they own his full Bird rights. Anunoby is also represented by multiple CAA clients in Morrison, Austin Brown and Sam Rose.

Does this mean Randle is getting moved via trade or getting moved to C? Very interesting but not a bad problem to have if you're the Knicks.

I think a big question here is, where does OG fit into the Knicks rotation now that Bridges is on board?

Keep Hartenstein. Move Randle. Let Anunoby walk.

Why would Hartenstein take a pay cut? Because he loves the Knicks and the knick fans more than he loves generational wealth?

Let OG walk and IHart leave.
Use the cap space to re-sign Precious to his qualifying offer and give Burks the vet minimum of $3 million.
Brunson
Divincenzo
Bridges
Randle
Mitch
Deuce
Burks
Hart
Precious
Sims
Sign Drummond for vet minimum
Bring back Archy
Sign Marquelle Fultz, Monte Morris, or Deanthony Melton for veteran depth (whoever is cheapest)
Two of these four picks: Edey or Yves Missi at 24, Tristan Da Silva or Ryan Dunn at 25

I'd supposed a rival team can either sign Hartenstein using cap space or pursue a S&T with the Knicks.
Since I do not see any team jumping out to sign a 25mpg player to big money using cap space at the moment. Hartenstein's options outside of re-signing with the Knicks is actually quite limited.
If Hartenstein wants to bet on himself, he can re-sign for a 1-year $16m deal and test the market again next summer.

MItch could be trade fodder too
