Boston Celtics center Kristaps Porzingis will miss the start of next season after undergoing offseason surgery. The Celtics announced Porzingis is expected to miss five-to-six months after having surgery to repair a torn retinaculum and dislocated posterior tibialis tendon.

That timeline would see Porzingis returning sometime in late-November to late-December. It's likely Boston will be cautious with their starting center, as having Porzingis healthy for another Finals run is the goal.
