Hornets Decline $1.9M Option For JT Thor

The Charlotte Hornets announced they declined their $1.9 million team option for forward J.T. Thor. The Hornets also announced Thor will be an unrestricted free agent. That indicates Charlotte will not tender Thor a qualifying offer to make him a restricted free agent.
The 6-foot-9 forward has played in 132 games for the Hornets over the past two seasons. Thor has averaged 3.5 points and 2.3 rebounds in 13.3 minutes per game.
