Kevin Love has declined his $4M player option with the Miami Heat for next season. Love will now be an unrestricted free agent.
Despite Love entering free agency, don't rule out a return to Miami. This move can save the Heat significant money towards the luxury tax and potential help with tax apron issues, as well.
