Celtics Pick Up $2.1M Option On Sam Hauser, Expected To Discuss Extension

The Boston Celtics are picking up the $2.1 million option for 24-25 on Sam Hauser. Hauser and the Celtics are expected to discuss an extension beginning on July 9.
Hauser was signed to a Two-Way contract by the Celtics in 2021 after he went undrafted. In 23-24, Hauser averaged 9.0 points and 3.5 rebounds per game while shooting 42.4 percent from the 3-point line.
Hauser, who is represented by Jason Glushon, can become an unrestricted free agent in 2025 if he is unable to agree to terms on an extension.
