Tobias Harris, Pistons Agree To Two-Year, $52M Deal

Tobias Harris and the Detroit Pistons have agreed to a two-year, $52 million deal. Harris is coming off a five-year, $180 million contract signed with the Philadelphia 76ers in 2019.

Harris was never a max player the trade 76ers made was insane however this sort of contract is definitely in his range for his production.

His agent is his father, not Gary Durant or whoever.
Also thank God he is officially gone from Philly. Maybe he will be better the 2nd time around in DET with no pressure, but he was a gigantic disappointment for six years in Philly. Occasionally puts up numbers, usually disappears.

He will have earned north of 300M for his career when it's all said and done.

Absolutely... DET fans are going to love him!
To be clear, PG (23/5/4) just signed in PHI for 4x's that number! Tobias averaged 17/6/3 last season on 3 fewer FGA and with a much lower USG%. I think PHI fans found their new most hated player!

I know he wasn't resigning with the 76ers but why Detroit? Hopefully he gets more touches but they are not winning anything any time soon.
