If you don't mind my asking, but what do you mean? What makes you say that?

So Klay plays SF alongside Kyrie and Luka? I’m not really sure how his addition fits.

I agree, not really sure why Dallas was after Klay.

This is my thought as well. Washington is a much better fit for the Mavs imo. They lose a lot on defense. If you're leaving, you try to find the best fit to prove them they made a mistake, but really don't see how this is it.

Also, while the Warriors didn't offer him max money, I can guarantee it was probably double what he got from the Mavs.

Klay averaged 18 PPG on 39% 3P%... on a team with a broken offense. He can't get his own anymore, but he is still a great shooter from range. In DAL he will never have to create his own shot. All he'll be expected to do is the one thing he's still elite at... catch and shoot. He will look like a better shooter in DAL.

Klay played with KD and Curry, two big-time scorers in history, even more so than Luka and Kyrie, yet he still got his own. He is no longer at that stage where he had to get his number.

No way Ws offered him much more, even if at all. If so why would he leave Curry and Green plus the only team he played for? Being the 3rd or 4th wheel on a championship team is nothing compared to the 4 rings he'd already gotten with the Ws.
