Alec Burks has agreed to sign with the Miami Heat on a one-year deal. Burks finished last season with the New York Knicks where he fell out of their rotation until the end of their playoff run when they had a number of injuries.
In 66 total games last season with the Knicks and Detroit Pistons, Burks averaged 10.4 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 18.4 minutes while shooting 37.6 percent on three-pointers.
Burks is represented by Anthony Fields and Rich Paul.

If he gets a good amount of minutes and stays healthy this is a good signing for the Heat.

Knicks should have S&T him in the Nets trade to get into the 2nd tax apron. Too late now.

If he gets a good amount of minutes, something has gone terribly wrong in MIA. Hopefully he's sitting way at the end of the bench!

NYK should have packed his lunch and drove him to the train station... he sucks!

All good, they used Shake Milton instead as the salary filler.
