1) Watson
was part of the regular season rotation - he played in 80 games & averaged almost 19 mins per. And it was Malone who chose not to play him in the playoffs. He had his reasons for better or worse. Watson's game more resembles Gordon's than Brown's tho. The guy who was supposed to fill in for Brown was Braun ... and we all kno how that's pronounced
2) It wlda bn silly for Dener to match Indy's bloated offer. And Booth likely wasn't in a position to bc ...
3) Stan Kroenke own the Nuggets. This is who u shld be pointing fingers at. Booth is limited in what he can do. Obviously they weren't gonna match Indy's offer for Brown and they cldnt get to a number the Kroenke's were comfortable with for KCP.
it's not so much that Booth said "we don't need Brown or KCP, we've got guys o the bench who are jus as good." He called both "big losses." With KCP specifically bc according to reports, they weren't far off of ORL's number, Kroenke jus cheaped out. Again, sux for Joker that they're not taking full advantage of his prime years
