Precious Achiuwa, Knicks Agree To One-Year, $6M Deal

Precious Achiuwa and the New York Knicks have agreed to a one-year, $6 million deal.

Achiuwa ended last season as a key member of the Knicks' rotation after he was acquired by New York in the OG Anunoby trade with Toronto. Achiuwa averaged 7.6 points and 7.2 rebounds in 24.2 minutes in his 49 games with the Knicks.

Achiuwa was the 20th overall pick in the 2020 draft by the Miami Heat. The Raptors acquired Achiuwa during the 2021 offseason as part of the Kyle Lowry deal.

Knicks have one open roster spot. They should use it on Gordon Hayward or Damarcus Cousins - non-guaranteed training camp deals.

That's cool. He's a good situational / backup center. I'd still like to pick up another.
