Jarrett Allen's three-year, $91 million contract extension with the Cleveland Cavaliers contains no player option in the final season and is not eligible to be traded for six months. Allen is signed through the 28-29 season.

“We couldn’t be more excited that Jarrett Allen chose to extend in Cleveland for the prime of his career,” said president of basketball operations Koby Altman. “Jarrett’s growth as a player, at just 26 years old, was accelerated when he earned his first All-Star selection in 2022. He is the anchor of our core group of players and his presence fits our vision for sustainable success. Jarrett also embodies the culture and values of our organization, and we look forward to achieving even greater things together.”

Over the last three years, Cleveland is 125-76 with Allen in the lineup and just 18-27 without him.

Never understood why Rockets didn't keep him in Harden trade back then. He was DD machine even then at age of 22 and Rockets were starting to rebuild, so Allen was at perfect age and contribution.
